Today, Mr. Rifaat Al-Ammo and Mr. Anas Sormini, board members of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, discussed areas of cooperation and joint coordination with a delegation from the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) during their visit to the Chamber. The delegation included Mr. Anas Al-Awak, Livelihoods and Food Security Programme Manager, and Tauqeer Ahmed, Livelihoods Specialist.The two sides explored ways to expand their partnership through a series of programs and steps aimed at supporting training for current workers and those wishing to enter the labor market. Additionally, discussions focused on providing support to affected industrialists to help them resume work and production.During the meeting, they reviewed the activities and projects implemented by the Norwegian Refugee Council to improve livelihoods. They also proposed organizing an exhibition for the products of beneficiaries within the clothing manufacturing sector. This project has already provided support and funding to several beneficiaries across various neighborhoods in Aleppo to start their own small businesses, aiming to support these entrepreneurs while promoting and marketing their products
