Within the framework of its continuous efforts to elevate the quality of national products and enhance their competitiveness both locally and internationally, the Aleppo Chamber of Industry launched "Akeed Company for Quality and Industrial Development." The launch took place during an official ceremony attended by a large gathering of industrial and commercial figures, as well as business leaders.In his speech during the ceremony, Mr. Imad Taha Al-Qasim, President of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, emphasized that the launch of this company represents the first initiative of its kind at the national level among chambers of industry. He noted that the Aleppo Chamber took the lead in obtaining a license to grant ISO certifications. He pointed out that the Chamber meticulously selected its supporting partner and primary certifier, a globally trusted Canadian company that adopts the highest international standards and specifications.Al-Qasim added that obtaining an ISO certification has become a fundamental requirement for entering foreign markets. This aligns with the Chamber's goal to promote national industries and products, reclaim foreign markets lost in recent years, and open new markets for Syrian products.Mr. Hussein Issa, Vice President of the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce, stressed the importance of establishing and launching this company, confirming that it represents a significant step forward in promoting national products.Mr. Mohammad Al-Yaman, representative of the "SMG" company, delivered a speech noting that the ISO certificate has become the defining tool for successful institutions. He highlighted that "Akeed" will play a major role in upgrading the capabilities of the local market to compete globally.Mr. Rabie Qal'aji, the executive director of the company, gave a speech explaining the mechanisms, plans, and objectives of the company's operations for the upcoming period.Following the speeches, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Chamber of Industry and "SMG" company.
