First Lady Latifa Al-Droubi Visits Businesswomen Committee Pavilion at "Nas Tex 2026" Exhibition in Damascus
First Lady Latifa Al-Droubi, spouse of His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Al-Sharaa, President of the Syrian Arab Republic, visited the pavilion of the Industrial Businesswomen Committee of the Damascus and Rural Damascus Chamber of Industry, participating in the Syrian International Textile Exhibition "Nas Tex 2026" held at the Fairgrounds in Damascus. She was received by Eng. Wafa Abu Labdeh, Head of the Industrial Businesswomen Committee.
During her tour, the First Lady reviewed the products and creations presented by the women of the "Basmat Fann" (Touch of Art) forum, launched by the committee to support small and micro-enterprises. These products reflect the level of creativity and excellence achieved by Syrian women in the textile, apparel, and traditional handcraft sectors with a modern touch.
First Lady Latifa Al-Droubi praised the significance of the textile sector and its vital role in supporting the national economy, emphasizing the need to consolidate efforts given that the textile industry forms a fundamental productive pillar that contributes to boosting production, creating job opportunities, and supporting the trajectory of economic development
