President Ahmad al-Sharaa inaugurated today the Syria International Textile Exhibition "Nas Tex" at the Damascus Conference Palace, in the presence of several ministers, alongside local, Arab, and international figures and organizations. In his speech, the President emphasized the vital importance of the textile sector as an integral part of Syria's industrial and artisanal identity. He highlighted its key role in supporting the path toward economic recovery and reconstruction, creating job opportunities, and enhancing the presence of Syrian industry in both regional and international markets.Furthermore, the President conducted a tour of the exhibition, inspecting its various pavilions and reviewing the most prominent textile products and industries on display. The Aleppo Chamber of Industry participated in the exhibition with an official delegation that included the chairman and members of the chamber’s board of directors. The chamber also featured its own dedicated pavilion, where it welcomed numerous official, economic, and business figures to exchange perspectives on the current economic and developmental landscape.The exhibition spans an impressive area of 150,000 square meters, featuring more than 300 exhibitors representing over 25 Arab and foreign countries. It serves as an international hub connecting manufacturers, suppliers, and textile industry experts, while opening new horizons for collaboration, investment, and the exchange of expertise
