To establish a new phase of economic partnership and reposition the national product on the global trade map, Eng. Mohammed Ayman Al-Mawlawi, Chairman of the Damascus and Damascus Countryside Chamber of Industry, discussed strategic plans with Mr. Samer Ramadan, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab Federation for Leather Industries in Syria (headquartered in Aleppo). The discussions focused on restructuring industrial committees and working to launch permanent exhibitions in the African continent, in coordination with the relevant authorities, accompanied by several federation members.During the meeting, Mr. Samer Ramadan reviewed the federation's vision for restructuring the participatory committees and representing all governorates and industrial sectors according to their points of strength. This aims to expand participation and develop local production in line with circular economy concepts, emphasizing teamwork to serve the national industry. Ramadan also highlighted his ongoing efforts to organize a visit for a Syrian businessmen delegation to Mauritania and Morocco to discuss investment partnerships. Additionally, he noted the pursuit of establishing a permanent exhibition for Syrian products under the slogan "Made in Syria" in the Ghanaian capital, Accra, in coordination with the relevant authorities and the Fair Organizers.For his part, Eng. Mohammed Ayman Al-Mawlawi confirmed full readiness for fruitful cooperation in all matters serving the Syrian industry and exports, ensuring the presence and expansion of Syrian industry. He stressed the importance of unifying shared visions and efforts to overcome all challenges and obstacles facing the national industry, ensuring it reclaims its prominence in local and regional markets
