Dr. Mohammad Abd Al-Rahman Turku, Minister of Education, discussed with M. Mohammad Ayman Al-Mawlawi, President of the Chamber of Industry of Damascus and its Countryside, ways to enhance cooperation in vocational and technical education, support students, and provide an educational environment that helps them acquire skills and expertise meeting labor market needs.The meeting was attended by Mr. Youssef Anan, Assistant Minister for Educational Affairs; Mr. Ahmad Al-Hassan, Assistant Minister for Pedagogical Affairs; Mr. Ayman Ramadan, Director of Vocational and Technical Education; and Mr. Hassan Al-Hussein, Director of Planning.The meeting highlighted the importance of developing vocational and technical education, linking it closely with industrial sector requirements and labor market demands. It also emphasized boosting cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the industrial sector to offer training and qualification opportunities for students, utilizing the available expertise and capacities of industrial facilities, alongside discussing ways to support and encourage students to enroll in vocational and technical specialties.Furthermore, attendees emphasized the importance of investing in students' skills and developing their practical abilities, contributing to preparing qualified vocational and technical cadres capable of participating in supporting the development and production process.
